More about the job

As the world moves towards a more sustainable future, ACT Commodities capitalizes on this shift. We trade energy efficiency certificates as well as physical products on the environmental commodities market. We are a ‘go for gold’ company and we’re looking for those who want to carve their path, kick down doors, and make a difference. But we are also so much more than fast-paced and forward-thinking… we are a family, and we firmly believe that we are better together!

Founded in 2009, ACT is now rapidly expanding, which translates into challenges on the technical and functional areas, making Business Intelligence a fast-paced, challenging environment to work in. You will get to use the latest technology to build systems that help make people's tasks easier, and in doing so you will have exposure to all our different department and lines of business. We of course provide you with training about our business processes and current systems, and third-party training are available on request for further professional development.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer you will help build ACT's data backbone through gathering, structuring, and combining our data in order to create reports & dashboards and give in-depth insights into the business. You need to have a helicopter view of the business, be able to prioritize our backlog for each sprint, and independently handle a request from ideation through testing, release, and post care. You will also support the other departments with creating and running reports, as well as providing reporting training to end users.
