Dedicated legal counsel

Job Description

Make a difference for our business
Danske Commodities is an energy trading company that specialises in short-term power and gas trading and offers balancing, optimisation and hedging services to energy producers and suppliers. Every day, we complete more than 5750 trades across 39 countries, constantly moving energy from where there is more than needed to where it is needed most. In 2019, Danske Commodities became part of Equinor, which is one of the world’s largest energy companies, and embarked on a global growth journey starting with Australia and the US.

In the Legal team, we work closely with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the organisation from trading teams to Senior Leadership to mitigate legal risks and to provide relevant input for decision making. We create value on both an operational and a strategic level, supporting the entire organisation with high-quality legal advice and support in drafting and negotiating contracts.

Join a team of passionate and skilled colleagues
Our Legal team consists of dedicated, proactive and experienced legal counsels, who work closely with the organisation and external counsels, not only in Denmark but across all our markets in Europe, the US and Australia. This way, you will get the opportunity to set the legal direction within your area of responsibility. Your tasks will be focused on supporting with legal advice as well as developing and taking the lead on all contractual relations for your stakeholders.
