Group Tax Specialist with interest in national and international tax matters

Job Description

At Danske Commodities (DC), the tax function is centralised at our head office in Aarhus, Denmark. Tax is an integrated part of our Financial Controlling team, where two employees currently handle all tax matters in the DC Group, meaning that the team handles tax matters for the entire Group – both the Danish parent company and international subsidiaries.

Tax matters at DC comprise a wide range of areas within corporation tax, international tax, transfer pricing and indirect tax. You will join a tax team which is responsible for ensuring DC’s compliance within the tax area. We act as internal advisors in daily operations, when onboarding new activities and when entering new market areas. In the team, we also have a close cooperation with the tax and indirect tax teams in Danske Commodities’ parent company, Equinor.

Join a team of collaborative, open-minded and ambitious colleagues
You will work closely together with our Lead Group Tax Advisor and join a team where openness and respect are key values. We are open for new ideas and new ways of doing things in order to be the best tax business partner for our colleagues and to ensure a high compliance level for the company. We respect each other’s competencies and qualifications and believe that utilising each other’s individual skills is vital to succeed. At the same time, we have a high team spirit and help each other reach our shared goals, and we value a positive and collaborative culture. Joining us, you will become part of an agile and dynamic company – and in Financial Controlling, we are continually maturing and developing our processes to adapt to the ever-changing energy business.

Your development as a tax specialist in DC
Starting out, you will get a thorough introduction to your tasks and the team, understanding their individual roles and contributions to the organisation. Down the road, you will play a significant role in our daily operations, you will have your own areas of responsibility and communications with both internal and external stakeholders. DC’s business is complex and so is fitting it into tax regulation; the exciting part is to make the complex simple, and we are looking for a new colleague who is excited to learn with us.
