Job Description

Join a dynamic team, always ready for the next challenge
Danske Commodities (DC) is one of the most successful European companies within energy trading and right now, we are looking to welcome a skilled student colleague to our Financial Controlling team. In Financial Controlling, we set the bar high to deliver high quality financial reporting and analysis, serving both internal and external stakeholders. The team is overall responsible for DC’s financial group reporting, making sure that the process is lean and the quality is high. Furthermore, we act as internal advisors when onboarding new business activities and entering new market areas.

You will join a team of nine dedicated colleagues with a wide range of competencies centralised around financial reporting. Our team is a solid mix of new graduates and colleagues with years of experience within the field. As such, joining this team is a unique opportunity to learn a lot from your colleagues. As a team, we excel in applying an agile and solution-oriented approach to challenges, and we all share a ‘can-do’ attitude towards new tasks. And as a trusted advisor, we have a lot of contact with both internal and external stakeholders as well as working closely with DC’s mother company, Equinor.

The first step in your future career
Starting out, you will get a thorough introduction to your tasks and the team, understanding their individual roles and contributions to the organisation. We are continually maturing and developing our processes in order to adapt to the ever-changing business and down the road, you will play an important role to achieve this. Your responsibilities will include shaping and refining our daily operations and communication with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as focusing on improving data, models and procedures used for accounting, controlling and reporting.

For talented student employees delivering excellent results, a student position can be the first step to a future full-time career at DC.
