Job Description

What You’ll Do:
Wholesale traders control any trading outside of the electronic screen market.  Trades transacted in this wholesale market are normally carried out via phone or direct lines and originate from banks and institutional investors.
After a short period of immersive training, you will be expected to communicate directly with counterparties and execute trades while simultaneously collaborating with screen traders (you are the liaison between the trader, broker and counterparty), develop and maintain business networks and relationships, explore new opportunities in an evolving marketplace and improve market access for the firm.
What You’ll Need:
  • Passion for financial markets
  • 2+ years of relative experience
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to make split-second logical decisions in a high-pressure environment
  • Desire to travel in order to maintain relationships
